This is a performance task aligned with the common core standards: 6.NS.5, 6.NS.6, 6.NS.7, 6.NS.8, 6.G3. It focuses on students plotting points, answering questions about quadrants, reflecting those points along the x and y axis, creating a polygon, naming the polygon, finding perimeter and area of their polygon and explaining the use of absolute value in calculating distances. There are 21 questions and an answer key included.

This can be a cumulative activity for the end of a unit, can be used as small project assessments throughout the unit, or can be used as an independent or enrichment study for the entire Algebra unit.
