Markup, Discount and Percent Change project

This is a project that can be split into two homework assignments or for student pairs to complete in class. The students are to come up with a hypothetical store with hypothetical merchandise. Experience

I have been teaching music since 2004 and math since 2010. I currently teach music and math (among a couple other random subjects) at a private school for students with special needs in classes that are one-on-one or small groups.

Teaching style

I prefer to guide students to their answers by teaching them *how* to think, not *what* to think.

My own education history

I graduated from the University of Michigan in December 2003 with a degree in Choral Music Education.

Additional biographical information

My students are "my kids", but at home my kids are Lab mixes - Bruiser and Daisy.
