This is a bundle of the student of the month printouts I created for my class this year. I do work at a small Catholic school and a couple of the images used from Canva are related to a Catholic holiday during the month. I am working on creating new versions as well that are without any religious holiday images as well as a weekly version instead of monthly.

I created a project for Newton's Laws of Motion for my middle school physical science students to complete. Originally, I had it planned for at school and working in groups. With not being in the building at this time, I had to adjust and turn it into an individually completed project. Since we are unable to host an end of year science fair this year, I created this virtual science fair option instead. We are allowed to have students record a video and submit to Google Classroom or, in this case, attach to a slideshow presentation. I am able to have all my students, 6-8, participate because I do work at a very small school.

I stumbled across a number of photographs of women in science over the years. I was inspired to create a project based on these photographs (which I am hanging around my classroom). You can use any female scientists you would like. I made sure there is enough I can assign a different one to each student, however I do have fairly small classes (I am using this with my 8th graders - there are 6 of them - and my 7th graders - there are 12 of them). I created a bunch of different activities for the 5 sense unit during my Kindergarten student teaching experience. They kids loved it. I went for hands on, cross-curricular, and engaging activities for them to learn about their 5 senses. Instructions are on page one.

I created this little mini book for my students to learn about different types of maps in our geography unit in social studies. I print this 2 sided, flip on the long edge, so the pictures of each type of map is next to the reading about that type of map. They typically work with a partner on this and there are comprehension questions at the end of the packet.
