Do you ever get frustrated by the mess of cut and paste activities? Download today for no more mess! Students practice labeling a Unit Circle in a scaffolded approach. The activity may be used as a whole class activity via a projector, station work, as an individual activity in a 1:1 setting, or with Google Classroom. Included in this download: •Scaffolded activities labeling: •angle measures •radians •coordinates and angles of 30-60-90 triangles •coordinates and angles of 45-45-90 triangles
The game of “Guess What” is modeled after the classic game of Guess Who. It is a 2 player game (that can be modified for 3 players) where players take turns asking yes and no questions to isolate a graph. The first player to guess the other player’s graph wins!
Game Setup:Each player takes their game board and places it in a dry erase sheet protector. Each player chooses a graph for which the other player will guess. Choose who goes first. That person will ask a yes or no question of the oth
Give students a transparent tool to help them label triangles!
Students often have trouble labeling parts (such as x, 2x, a, b, c, opposite, adjacent, hypotenuse, etc) of triangles for Special Triangles, Pythagorean Theorem, and Trigonometry. To help my students do this correctly, I give each student a labeled triangle printed on transparency film.
Then when students are working on one of these types of problems, they line up their transparency with the problem on their paper. They line up
Students are much more successful with solving basic introductory trigonometry problems when they spend time learning opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse and learning how to decide what trigonometric ratio to use when. This SMART Board notebook activity provides students the opportunity to practice this vocabulary. It also provides a 'pull tab' with answers. The activity ends with a little trigonometry comic relief.
