In this technology based activity, students will use Desmos.com to gain understanding of writing equations of lines in Point Slope Form and finding Domain and Range. Students are given a link to a Desmos shooting star design which has been made with tables. They are asked to find the equation of each line used to make the design. Teaching style
My philosophy of teaching is to find different ways for students to learn. I believe it is important to show students that math does apply to the "real world" and that yes, indeed, math can be fun.
