Thanks for stopping by my Store!
A couple quick hits about me: I taught 3rd-grade ELD classes in Arizona for 2 years and had taught in 1st, 3rd and 6th-grade classes throughout my University Education in Utah before that. I used to run an afterschool program through 4H at a Junior High and have also spent 5+ years as a tutor. I used to work in summer recreational programs for kids from preschool age to junior high; planning field trips, running art and craft projects, running group activities and games, etc.
I worked as a teacher assistant teaching English and other content areas in both Spain and Belize. I currently teach homeschool groups and substitute teach in Oahu, Hawaii.

Teaching style
Through my experiences in teaching many different subjects to a diverse group of students; I strongly believe in differentiation and home involvement in education. I believe that as educators, we need to connect what we teach to our students' lives. Learning is an individual matter. Great teachers spend SO MUCH TIME differentiating in order to reach each student and I focus my curriculum on doing the differentiating for students. Almost all of the curriculum I sell can be used by parents who homeschool multiple grades at one time or teachers who work with students at a wide range of levels. My curriculum has many different levels so that a 1st grader all the way through an 8th grader can do the activity and engage in meaningful learning.
