Experience

I have eleven years teaching experience across grades Pre-K to 6. I currently teach in Australia, but have also taught in the USA.

Teaching style

I am easily inspired and love to find ways to improve learning for my students using a variety of strategies and ideas. My goal is to remain a flexible teacher, taking on board the new things I learn and modifying my practices as necessary. I am passionate about using technology to support students in becoming literate and numerate. Wherever possible I differentiate tasks to suit the varied needs of students in my class. I like to find and create resources that really get kids thinking, and can be easily modified to suit new situations.
