Kids love searching around the room and counting the cute pictures! Students will practice counting quantities to 8 in different configurations and writing numbers 0-8.

Post the cards around the room. Give students a recording sheet and have them find the pictures. Students count the pictures on each card. They write the number on the recording sheet that matches the face on the card.

You can use dry erase pockets for the recording sheets if you would like to save paper.

Optional: If you do not want to post the pictures around the room place the cards in a bag and have students take one card out at a time and record the number.
