  3. Converting Fractions and Decimals to Percents
  4. Converting Fractions to Decimals
  5. Converting Metric Units
  6. Distance between points on a coordinate plane
  7. Effects of outliers on the median and mean
  8. Evaluating Expressions for a Given Value
  9. Exponents and their terminology
  10. Greatest Common Factor
  11. Least Common Multiple
  12. Mean absolute deviation
  13. Mean, Median, and Mode
  14. Ordering rational numbers
  15. Percent of a Number
  16. Solving equations (all 4 operations)
  17. Translating between equations and graphs
  18. Using unit rates to find the best deal
  19. Finding the whole given the part and percent
  20. Writing and Translating Algebraic Expressions

Directions are printed at the top of each page, and keys for all the activities are included. The first answer is always provided for the students, so they have an example to follow.

At the end, read the secret message from top to bottom. To keep your students on task, there is an alternative, incorrect message for each activity, too.

Grading is quick and easy for you. Just read their message! All you have to do is copy the worksheets. The prep is all done for you.

I have used these types of activities before - very engaging to get to secret message. I noticed that the work space is a little limited, might have to adjust that - but plan to use it when I get to algebraic concepts, missing values.
