Serving as an educator since 2007 I have been able to participate in a variety of experiences. These include starting as a Special Educator, moving into MTSS as a Literacy Specialist, tutoring, developing products, and consulting with other schools, districts and states. Currently, I lead a school wide MTSS/RTI/PBIS system at an elementary school in Denver, CO. I founded Morgan Learning to enhance individual and school wide systems to improve literacy, learning, and teacher efficacy.
My teaching style is focused on multi-sensory, conceptual, and authentic reading, writing and math instruction. During my years in the classroom, I researched and attended training sessions on any strategy I thought would help my students. I now use that learning as a Lead, Coach, and Consultant in support of students, teachers, and leaders. Focusing on research-based strategies, efficient data synthesis from multiple sources, and techniques to determine most impactful next steps set our system apart.
