This is a list of cusomary units of measurements conversion for Length, Weight, and Capacity. In my class, I use the Video Game term, "Cheat Code" to refer to these conversion numbers. For example: If a problem deals with Inches & Feet, the Cheat Code is 12. If a problem deals with Quarts & Gallons, the Cheat Code is 4. You always multiply or divide by the Cheat Code to convert. This cover sheet is a grading rubric for Math seatwork I assign to be completed over the course of the week. As it is supplemental to the Math curriculum and focuses on critical thinking skills, I am not concerned about grading the number of correct or incorrect problems. I allow the students to correct their own work using an answer key. I am primarily concerned with the quality of their Math computation/work skills and their ability to go back over their work and understand their errors.
