Students apply their understandings of fractions to make art! Originally I did this project with my grade 5 students on graph paper, giving them more freedom to create images of different sizes and complexities. For my grade 3 class, the grid paper became a bit overwhelming and I came up with this template that could be used without as much fuss. They loved it!
