About the store

Experience

I've been a primary teacher for 15 years in 3 states and 5 districts. All these changes have given me a great idea of what teachers want and need to do a great job!

Teaching style

My teaching style changes all the time! I love to try new ideas or incorporate new strategies into my lessons!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was asked to be part of a committee to adapt the Common Core Standards for the state of Arizona in 2010. This really helped me understand the standards and how they can be used in the classroom.

My own education history

I'm proud to say that I am a graduate of Indiana University. I also earned my Master's Degree in Reading, Writing and Literacy from a great program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Additional biographical information

I love teaching and I hope that comes out in what I have to offer here!
