This week long power point lesson is made to introduce students to 3 different types of graphs - tally charts, pictographs and bar graphs. The students learn graphing terminology, how to create a graph and answer questions about the graphs. They are then asked to create their own questions and answers about different graphs. The final lesson is comparing the three graphs. This is a great lesson to introduce graphing and get the students ready to create their own graphs in future lessons. Th

It only lightly hits on telling time but it covers topics surrounding time such as vocabulary, word problems with elapsed time and daily schedules. There are student engagement questions embedded in the PP to allow the students to absorb the concepts they are learning.
