Use this game to practice using a number line and the counting on addition strategy.
Students will take turns rolling dice and counting on to twenty on a number line. There is also a recording page so the students can write number sentences for each problem.
I created this book to use as an assessment for my weather unit. My students are supposed to be able to identify and explain types of weather and weather instruments. This can be used to assess or throughout lessons as you introduce new weather vocabulary.

This is a checklist I created for students to be in control of their Daily 5 choices. I used a half sheet of paper to help save paper. I laminate it and keep it taped to their desks. They mark with dry erase marker which choices they have done each week. This helps me monitor what choices they are making and what they may need to do more.
Directions: Write or draw the time on the clocks. Cut out the clock and glue on the time sort page.
Use this activity as extra practice for writing and drawing time. Also as practice for understanding the difference with time to the hour and time to the half hour.
Could also be used as a quick assessment check.

In my classroom I follow a daily MATH! routine. It is similar to daily 5. I like to have students keep track of their choices so that they are rotating and getting to everything while having a choice at the same time.
I use the acronym MATH! for my rotations
