The directions serve as scaffolding, getting less specific as the activity progresses. Students will follow directions to translate a single shape to 5 different locations. Questions ask students to determine and graph the coordinates of each preimage, and express each transformation using translation notation. Each figure is colored using a different color for easy checking/correcting.

Questions ask students to determine the x and y intercepts of functions given an equation or a graph, and to graph lines from equations in standard form. This download includes 12 question and answer pages, a student work page, and an answer key. The questions and answers can be printed and posted around the classroom or in a hallway. Students will walk around and match each question to an answer, while showing their work on their work page.
