A way to FINALLY let students use Minecraft in a way directly correlated with the Common Core Standards!
This Minecraft lesson is compatible with ALL versions of Minecraft, free or paid. If using the free version, the only step that students will not be able to complete are the steps involving a sign to label points on the coordinate plane. An easy fix -- just have students type the coordinates on a word document.
This is a free version of one of my Minecraft lesson plans. I designed and wrote
A quick Minecraft build that correlates with common core standard 4.G.A.1. The PDF purchase includes an instruction sheet for students and a screenshot with what the finished product will look like. The build may be completed on any version of Minecraft.
**Teachers need no prior knowledge of Minecraft to check for build accuracy.
This Minecraft build is extremely simple and straightforward. The student instruction sheet takes students through a Minecraft build step by step. The build has students building number lines, both the positive and negative sides, and then building something that they associate with each side. Students of all learning levels can complete the build.
As in my other builds, there is an optional research section for the students to complete that will lead to further mastery of the content.
