Before I do this activity, I make sure to model how to work cooperatively in groups together. This activity includes 1 worksheet for students to fill out along with several pictures that the teacher should print out and cut out individually. The teacher should then post the pictures randomly throughout the room and have students circulate the room to answer the questions on the worksheet. *Note: Students may need to use a periodic table to help them out as well.

Students will be shown how to create a children's story and will be instructed to create their own children's story based on the various philosophers and scientists previously discussed in the unit. This is an assignment for students to work on individually. The instructions are clearly outlined on the worksheet. Students will need pieces of paper, a stapler and various colouring materials. The evaluation that I used for this assignment is included in the pdf document.

Each student will be assigned 2-3 elements, depending on how large the class is. Students are to follow the instructions on the pdf document and create a page for each element that they are assigned.
