During my Math Workshop students visit two rotations per day that are designed around the Math CCSS for my grade level. My “Fact Fluency” station is from the Operations & Algebraic Thinking Domain. Activities and games for this station are fairly simple, repetitive, and fun, of course! My goal is for students to be able to work on their Fact Fluency in pairs or on their own without needing to interrupt my small group instruction for directions on the activity.

Students can use these Number Cards to Compare 2-Digit Numbers to each other. These cards are printed and put into a basket at our Understanding Base-10 station for Guided Math. Fact Fluency is so important for students in their foundational math skills. We use these at our Fact Fluency (based on the OA CCSS) rotation in our Math Workshop. Students practice their Fact Fluency and familiarity with Doubles by playing this Double Bump Game. This works on addends up to 6. You may use a plastic spinner placed on top of the spinner on the second page or instruct students to use a pencil and paper clip as a spinner. This game has been played in pairs and group of three in my classroom.

Mondays are "Math Monday" in my classroom and we practice gathering data within our class by answering a question and making a tally. After we have collected all our data we construct a bar graph.
