Quadratic Function Activity About Your Dental Arch
Through this activity students will discover properties of parabolas while comparing the parabola they all carry around with them every day - their dental arch. Students will brainstorm ways to measure a dental arch and ultimately take an "impression" of their arch by taking a bite out of a slice of bread.
