Behavior Management Journal with QR Code
The behavior management journal with a QR code is a tool for teachers to use as a way of monitoring both desirable and undesirable behaviors in the classroom. The tool is a google form that is connected to a QR code. The Qr code is then embedded as an image on a student profile/contact page. I keep these profile sheets in a binder for each class. The purpose of attaching the google form to a QR code is to maintain quick access in submitting/monitoring student behavior or growth.

Color Coded Grade Book

Weekly Class Evaluation Rubric System for Classroom Management
This is a Weekly Class Evaluation system I developed for classroom and behavior management. I used it for several years in my ABE GED classroom and it worked extremely well. Students appreciated the specific information on what I expected from them and the weekly feedback helped them see exactly where they stood. I think it would also work well for students in grades 9-12 or in an Alternative Learning Center (ALC) setting.

ISN Grading Rubric Updated
This is an updated version of my original ISN grading rubric. This emphases put more weight on note and assignment completion. I have maintained a focus on the the organizational skills of a table of contents, page numbers and dates.
For example: Consider a student who has completed all assignments and notes in entirety.
Original: The students would score an 8/20 (40%).
New: The students would score a 20/30 (66%).

Current Event Assignment and Rubric
An effective way to get students involved with what is going on in the world. The Current Event form that students will fill out includes not only a summary, but also vocabulary. The Current Event rubric is easy for teachers to score with and students to understand. I do this every Friday with my students. They expect to share them with the class. I use garage sale stickers and put them on small crates to hold books. For each sticker there is a symbol for the category it holds. Then, I put a number next to each category to tell the students how many crates there are for each category. I make sure to put a garage sale sticker with the matching label on each book so students can put the books in the correct crates.
