About the store
𝐖𝐡𝐨’𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞? Katie CoScine! She has a unique way of teaching chemistry that makes it practical for everyday life (mostly through relating it to cooking). But she doesn't just make it relatable, she also makes chemistry a visual science. So many times we can't literally show students the cations or solute in the beaker, but with many of her products—you can. She's eith drawn out, flow charted, or color coded what is happening for students. And that is what makes the products in this store so valueable. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐲𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞? The products in this store help students visualize chemistry. Want students to remember the difference in cations and anions? Use her Cation Anion Doodle Notes to show them the color coded "cat" ion and onion anion. Want students to stop forgetting where the numbers come from in molar mass calculations? Use her visual worksheet that guides students on where to get all the numbers. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞? Teachers love her quantum numbers products. They take a very difficult and abstract topic and make it so students can see what each number means. Which makes it 600 times easier to teach. 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦? Doodle notes are for you if you want to give students a way to learn that makes chemistry more memorable. Some doodle notes are just aethetically designed notes. These doodle notes draw the concept out and color code the ideas. For example, anything that needs to be done in a certain order is colored in the order of the rainbow. Anything positive like cations, protons, or pH is color coded yellow. Anything negative like anions, electrons, or pOH is color coded blue. These doodle notes are also higher level. They don't just cover simple topics like protons, neutrons and electrons. They also cover complex topics like molecular orbital theory and VSEPR. One last thing. Exponent Power Rule Doodle Notes

These doodle notes are super academic. Sometimes, I think doodle notes don't raise the bar enough, so I tried to make these so useful that your students can use them as a reference page. There are 3 power rule exponent examples on the doodle notes. There are 4 mistakes students make when learning how to solve exponents and those issues are highlighted on here. The main problem pictured is more difficult and is a great problem to work out with students on the board and tell them to write lots o

*BUNDLE*Trig Fraction Review, Beginning Identities, and Identities Made Easy

This is a bundle for 3 resources listed separately in my store. The 1 page fraction review gets your students ready to simplify trig identities. Many students struggle with the fraction aspect of trig identities and they forget when to get a common denominator and when to just multiply straight across. The next 3 page worksheet walks them through translating back and forth between the identities and sin/cos. Then, they work on rearranging the Pythagorean identities. After that, students simplify

Graphing and Understanding Slope in Detail

Illustrate the concept of slope to your students clearly with this worksheet. This worksheet is ideal for Math 7, Math 8, or Algebra 1. This worksheet will have students identify the y-intercept and the slope in the first section. In the second section, students are asked to write the slope as a fraction. This is key to graphing slope correctly. Then, the students will be asked to interpret the rise over run that they did before. They will learn that a positive five in the numerator means "float

This is a poster for middle school or high school math classrooms. It explains that we all learn differently, and we all learn at different rates. But, what counts is that we are all continuing to learn all the time. This started out as a fun Instagram post, but many people wanted a poster version for their classrooms, so here it is by popular demand! I made two versions. This version is a pdf that would work best as a rectangular poster. The other version is here and would work best as a squ

Trig Identities Made Easy

I have a new way to make teaching and learning trig identities easier. Students know what they need to do, but not how to do it. So, I've created a worksheet with hints and baby steps. First page- Students forget how to add/subtract/multiply/divide fractions, so that review is the first page. Second and Third Page-Trig identities problems are on this page. Students will look for the hints on the left column as to what to do. For example, it will tell them the first step to solving a trig identi

Learning How To Distribute and Simplify

When many students are learning how to distribute they seem to not understand that the 2x minus 3 is now sort of like 2x plus negative 3, which plays into whether or not they can distribute correctly. Understanding that the signs and the numbers are bonded together is an important concept at this point. I color coded the problems in the worksheet to reflect how the signs and numbers are bonded together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Connect With Me Online!Follow me on

Beginning Trig Identities

This resource is for students who are just beginning to work with trig identities. The worksheet walks them through translating back and forth between the identities and sin/cos. Then, they work on rearranging the Pythagorean identities. On the second page, students simplify one and two-step problems where all they have to do is convert to sine and cosine and cancel. If your students struggle with the fraction aspect, I would consider using my fraction review sheet along with this worksheet.

Imaginary Numbers for SAT

Use these imaginary number problems to help students prepare for the SAT. I tried to find a worksheet to help a few students prepare for the SAT and ACT. I couldn't find something that combined the various imaginary number problems in a single worksheet. So, I created this worksheet. The problems are simple, but they get the student ready for the "add 'A' plus 'B' after simplifying the problem" type questions the SAT is notorious for. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ple

Share the joy of pi by solving these 9 different formulas for π in this worksheet. They are formulas for volume, area, and surface area. There is at least 1 equation in this worksheet that is more advanced, so if your students are in Algebra 1 or below, have them skip #8 or give bonus points. It requires factoring to solve. This worksheet could be used in Algebra 1, 2, 3, or in Precalculus. It would also work well for SAT/ACT preparation because many students falter when the equations are mostl
