Graphs of functions: Domain and range graphs - review Task cards

Created by
MathNoHow
There are 36 “graphs of functions” task cards in this product. An answer sheet is provided at the end of the task cards. For each graph, students must solve: · Domain of graph. · Range of graph. · Is it a function: Yes or No? Students sometime struggle with questions about domain and range of graphs and finding if it’s a function or not, which is why I made many questions. The graphs vary from easy graphs of lines, parabolas and absolute values to far more complicated graphs. There is ample

This product contains 33 tasks. Each task has a graph of a linear equation and a number of questions on each. Some graphs have only one linear equation, and some have two linear equations. There are two sample questions at the start of this product, one with only one graph and the other sample question has two graphs. For each graph, a number of questions are asked and solutions given. This give the students a good introduction on how to interpret such graphs and answer questions from them. All

This product contains a total of 36 task cards to help students practice and understand how to examine word problems and write them in the form of linear equations. After the linear equation has been derived, the students are then required to solve the equation for the variable in the task card. Three of the cards require the students to represent the situation on a graph. Many students really struggle with this topic, hence my reason for making so many of these cards. While my students are we

This worksheet contains 22 task cards, each card with a pair of mathematical scenarios, one of which is an arithmetic scenario and one which is geometric. The students must examine their cards and determine: Which is arithmetic and which is geometric.Draw a graph illustrating each circumstance. On some cards, graphs must be used to extrapolate information.I use this to introduce the concept of arithmetic and geometric sequences. It’s a great way to visually illustrate the differences between the
