Experience

I have had the pleasure of teaching 2nd, 4th and 5th grades! I have been and educator in the great state of Texas for 15 years. Perhaps my greatest experiences as an educator have come from watching, learning and growing with my own four children.

Teaching style

I strongly believe learning should be fun! I like to keep my students hopping. I use stations as a tool to reach all learning styles. It gives students multiple opportunities to look at concepts in multiple ways.

My own education history

I grew up in Shallowater, Texas where I attended school kindergarten through 12th grade. After graduating high school I attended Wayland Baptist University in Plainview,Texas. It was here, I not only earned my BA but I also gained invaluable leadership skills.
