A simple graphic organizer for students to write/take notes on the 6 nutrients that the body needs. The six nutrients are: protein, vitamins, minerals, water, fats and carbohydrates. The directions included are: Use the table below to record HOW each nutrient helps you/what it allows your body to do. Then draw examples of some examples of the foods that provide these nutrients.

I absolutely LOVED using this in my classroom after our benchmark! I had my students reflect on their learning and their test and I believe it truly made a difference for them. Foldable to use for teaching light vocabulary: absorption, reflection, refraction. There are two versions (1 per page, and 2 per page) to meet your printing needs. These are perfect for interactive science notebooks. (I used these for teaching Texas TEK 5.6C, but it can easily be used for other grades/states).

Students love the opportunity to spend more time with the teacher and have a special lunch in the classroom.
