When we started our unit on Landforms and changes to Earth’s surface, I realized that a lot of my students were not familiar with the different landforms. In order to familiarize my students I decided to do this activity with them. I formatted it as a ‘game’. This proved to be really successful and my kiddos are now very comfortable using the landforms vocabulary. The landforms I chose were the ones that were most commonly used on the STAAR test.
