I used this PBL as a project at the end of the school year for my students who live in a rural area and get excited about camping. They were able to do research on their favorite campgrounds and learn more about the planning involved to take a camping trip. I appreciated the variety of subjects this addressed - ELA, math, science, and social studies. The students enjoyed the creative aspect of drawing their own campsite and getting to make choices about what they would bring.
