Description

Math color by number activities provide an engaging way to include 'level-appropriate' practice while enjoying the benefits of coloring in math class.

What's Included:

  • 60 resources with over 180 versions for 4th-7th grade topics (topics listed below and in the Preview).
  • Resources have 15 or 20 math problems and separate coloring sheets.
  • Slides versions are the digital options (downloadable as PowerPoint if needed).
  • Bonus: 70+ blank coloring sheets for coloring fun or for students to create their own color by number activities

This bundle combines 3 smaller bundles, covering 4th–7th grade math topics with over 180 print and digital activities:

1) Math Color by Number Bundle #1 (5th-7th grades)

2) Math Color by Number Bundle #2 (6th-7th grades)

3) Math Color by Number Bundle #3 (4th-5th grades)

Each of the math color by number resources includes a PDF with:

  1. Print version(s) with problem sheets (15-20 questions) and coloring pages
  2. Link to Google Slides version (for 56 of them); if you aren't using Google Classroom but can access the Google Slides link, you can download as a PPT as students can use in the same way as Slides
  3. Instructions for digital: students use the 'fill color' bucket to color
  4. Keys
  5. One or more coloring pages with no numbers, for students to color their own way for fun or to create their own color by numbers (over 70 total).

Benefits of using color by numbers:

  • Self-Checking Designs: Students instantly know if their answers are correct, encouraging persistence and reducing teacher workload.
  • Differentiation Made Easy: Includes 130 printable and 56 digital versions to address diverse student needs without extra planning time.
  • Mindfulness Through Math: Coloring engages reluctant learners and brings calm, focus, and creativity to math lessons.
  • Versatile Use: Perfect for centers, early finishers, sub plans, assessments, or seasonal review.

Teachers and students love these coloring resources:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "I absolutely love these! Math practice and coloring! I've used these for stations, independent practice and homework. You can never have enough fluency practice and these cover mainly math computational fluency which many of my students need practice on."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"Great to leave for subs! Challenging enough for my 7th & 8th graders, but they still enjoy it because it's not 'just a worksheet'."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "My kiddos love these! They will persevere through the work to make sure they have the perfect pattern! :)"

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"This has been a wonderful source of reviewing concepts. My students love that they get to color after they have completed their work. It is highly engaging."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"My students loved the finished pictures.  These designs required them to actually do the calculations rather than just color based on their understanding of the picture."

This was a perfect activity to leave for my sub when I was gone to be an early finishers activity so they were reviewing concepts and not just chatting away the rest of the hour they were in class.
