This packet includes four different types of math journals that are all centered around the number sense concept greater than/less than/equal to. The four types of journals are: 1. Represent with symbols - students will cut and paste symbols to make number sentences true. 2. Color it in! - students will color in numbers that are greater than OR less than. 3. Which 3 Could It Be? - students will be given 4 numbers. They are to write a number that is greater than, less than, and equal to the four

This packet includes number charts all the way up to 1,000! There are number charts 100-200, 200-300, and so on! These are a great tool to use when teaching number sense in your classroom. I use these in my classroom for number sense activities, using them to help students see patterns in ALL numbers, not just numbers 1-100. These dot cards are a great resource to use when subitizing. Subitizing is the ability to quickly identify the total amount in a group without counting one-to-one. Students will eventually learn to quickly see groups within the total amount to help them figure out the total amount. I use these as a math warm-up before whole group instruction.
